Since its founding 40 years ago, CGGC has grown miraculously and won numerous high-level qualifications and important industrial honors.

CGGC boasts 130 qualifications, including 84 qualifications for construction enterprise (32 qualifications for general contracting and 52 qualifications for specialized contracting), 31 qualifications for construction project, 7 qualifications for real estate development and management and 8 other qualifications. The qualifications for general contracting consist of 1 special qualification, 21 Grade-A qualifications, 5 Grade-B qualifications and 5 Grade-C qualifications; the qualifications for specialized contracting consist of 36 Grade-A qualifications, 9 Grade-B qualifications, 2 Grade-C qualifications and 2 unclassified qualifications. As a Grade-A enterprise for turn-key foreign-aid project, CGGC has the right to perform international bidding business, foreign project contracting, labor service cooperation, investment & financing, guarantee, foreign trade and approval of foreign affairs.

CGGC has won China’s top honors in the construction filed including the special prize of China National Award for Science and Technology Progress, the first prize of China National Award for Science and Technology Progress, the gold prize of National Award for Quality Projects, as well as Luban Prize for quality construction projects and Zhan Tianyou Prize for excellent civil works, etc. For years, CGGC has been ranking among the ENR top 100 out of 250 biggest international contractors in the world. In addition, CGGC is the winner of the "CSR Gold Prize for China International Contractors", "The Top Ten Chinese Enterprises in Africa" and "Top 10 Successful Foreign Enterprises in ASEAN Countries", etc.
