Nigerian new ambassador visits the Beijing headquarters

On June 10, 2009, Mr Wali, the new Nigerian ambassador to China, paid a visit to the Beijing Headquarters of CGGC International, and was received by Nie Kai, vice president of CGGC.

Mr Nie warmly welcomed the decision of Mr Wali to visit CGGC as the first stop of his inspection on enterprises after his inauguration. He appreciated the Nigerian Government and the client for the vigorous support to CGGC, which is now undertaking a project in Nigeria. He pointed out that Nigeria is an important target of CGGC in expanding its African market, and the company will continue to pay close attention to the economic development in Nigeria, and play an active role in the local capital construction.

Mr Wali thanked Nie Kai for the warm reception. He extolled the achievement that CGGC has made, and said he was deeply impressed by the strength of the company. He noted that Nigeria values the cooperation with CGGC, and the quality of the project undertaken by CGGC in Nigeria has been highly commended by the Nigerian government departments. He hoped that CGGC will continue taking an active part in the economic construction in Nigeria, and his government will offer more support and help.
