Ren Jianguo meets with Nigerian President Jonathan

On July 11, CGGC vice general manager and CGGC International president made an official visit to Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, who was paying a state visit to China, at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, and they talked in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

During the meeting, Ren gave a brief introduction to the development history, the 3 main businesses and the operating conditions of CGGC in the Nigerian market.

Ren said, since its accession to the Nigerian market, CGGC had established local branches and actively participated in the infrastructure construction of port, dredging, highway, railway and housing, etc., making positive efforts in local social progress and improvement of the people’s livelihood.

Currently, CGGC is further strengthening its cooperation with local companies in Nigeria. It vows to make inroads into new market of power construction in Nigeria based on the achievements made in the past and by making use of its advanced experience in the field of electric power construction worldwide, so as to make new contributions to improve the production and livelihood of Nigeria.

Jonathan highly praised CGGC for the company’s participation in the infrastructure construction in Nigeria, welcomed CGGC to conduct more extensive cooperation with Nigeria in the field of electric power construction and so on. He said that Nigeria was willing to cooperate with excellent Chinese enterprises including CGGC so as to promote the Sino-Nigerian relationship to develop continuously.a
