Doctor has passion for patients
Ma Ying, a doctor at the nephrology department of Aoyoung Hospital in Zhangjiagang, also remained at work during the Spring Festival. This was her tenth Spring Festival spent working
"We get busier during the holiday season," she said.
Not long after Ma started working at 7:30 pm on New Year’s Eve, patients came in succession. She tirelessly inquired about their illnesses, and gave indications on taking medicine.
Ma also had to work night shifts in turn, as emergencies from some patients need dealt with immediately.
"I don't care about the hardships as long as their condition improves," she said.
