Tiger Mountain Scenic Site is located about 12 kilometers to the northeast of Dandong in Liaoning province and about 272 kilometers from Shenyang. It is an important scenic site of the Yalu River National Scenic Zone, a national AAAA-Class scenic site, and a national unit for protection of cultural relics.

Fenghuang Mountain is one of the arteries of the greater Changbai Mountains and covers an area of 216.9 sq km. Zanyun is its highest peak, at 836.4 m above sea level.

The Damaged Yalu River Bridge is a historical remnant of the Japanese occupation, located at the southern end of the Dandong Yalu River Bridge, in Linjiang city, Jilin province.

This scenic part of Tianhua Mountain sits in a sub-arctic forest zone, 1,100 m above sea level on the southwestern slope of Changbai Mountain in Guanshui town, Liaoning province, on 33 square kilometers of land, 150 km from Dandong. It is a scenic spot with a AAAA-Tourist Area rating.

The Yalu River International Tourist Festival has increasingly worked to be more innovative in both content and form, since it opened in 2000, and, as a result, has become more influential, popular, and better known both in China and abroad.
