China sees a growing number of returnees

Luo Hao

After three years in Russia studying and working, I came back home because I was homesick. Being on an expatriate staff in Moscow, I was not really attuned to their way of thinking, their culture and also the food. I was alone there, and it’s difficult to me to just go with it. For me, learning was the top priority for going abroad, while salary was the last thing I considered. Since I’ve got what I want, I applied to return home. I think studying overseas was not a way to earn a good salary, but a way to enrich my life experience.
