2. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are among the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. They are a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the army of Qin Shi Huang (260-210BC), the first Emperor of China in the Qin Dynasty (220 to 210 BC). This relic was discovered accidentally by local farmers in 1974. Today, it has been protected to help people to rediscover Chinese national heritage.
