4. Stele Forest
The Xi'an Stele Forest Museum is located near the South Gate of the City Wall containing steles and stone sculptures. Established in 1090 during the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279), the Stele Forest is well known for its large collection. It is a good place to get close to Chinese history and culture and a must see for lovers of Chinese calligraphy.
