Is China's early education craze happening?

We often discussed the books we were reading... what we liked, what we didn't like, the characters, scenarios, and etc. This really helped develop an advanced vocabulary, build their reading and comprehension skills, and fostered a decent foundation with their creative thinking and verbal and written expression. As adults, they continue to be avid readers... and now with their own children they've done the same. It's never too early to begin reading with a child, it's something to be cherished and enjoyed.
