Luoyang welcomes Peony Cultural Festival

The opening ceremony of the 31st Luoyang Peony Cultural Festival was held in the Luoyang Opera House on April 10.

This year’s festival is themed around the “ancient capital Luoyang, appreciating national beauty and the heavenly fragrance of peonies”.

Honored as the “Peony Capital”, Luoyang has held the annual festival since 1983. The spectacular blossoming peonies during the festival attract a great number of tourists every year.
