68th Frankfurt Book Fair kicks off

The 68th Frankfurt Book Fair, the world's largest trade fair for books, kicked off with an opening ceremony on Tuesday.
Thousands of publishing companies from all over the world have gathered at the annual cultural event for publishing rights negotiation and communication.
A total of 152 representatives from 72 organizations in China take part in this year's book fair, bringing various publications covering the fields of literature, science, medicine, history, children etc. Further in-depth dialogues and culture exchange activities will also be held by Chinese exhibitors.
