Palace Museum restoration project being carried out

The east wing of Palace Museum's Meridian Gate is surrounded by scaffolding during a repair work in central Beijing, China, Sept 7, 2013. The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, on Sept 3 began to undergo a key repair and renovation project that aims for a spacious and modernized exhibition hall.
