Palace Museum restoration project being carried out

Workers mount scaffolding around the east wing of the Meridian Gate of the Palace Museum in central Beijing, China, Sept 7, 2013. The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, on Sept 3 began to undergo a key repair and renovation project that aims for a spacious and modernized exhibition hall.
