Auld Lang Syne
Auld Lang Syne is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns (1759-96). It is well known in many countries, including China, for the traditional folk song adapted from the poem. The song, know in Chinese as youyi dijiu tianchang, the friendship song, is often used to bid farewell.
