Thirteen years ago on Tuesday, a Chinese fighter plane collided with a US spy plane over the South China Sea.

The Chinese Navy held a sea funeral and as the Qingming Tomb Sweeping Festival approaches, "guardian" Wang is commemorated.

The incident always remindes us that we must strengthen national defense and protect territorial seas.
