One hundred and five Indians participated in an activity called "Love warms Shanghai, gift of life from India" to voluntarily donate blood, making it the largest group of foreign blood donators in one county in Shanghai.

A total of 153 packages containing 32,600 milliliter of blood were donated on Saturday.

The volunteers, organized by an Indian association, have been either working or studying in Shanghai for a long time.

Among the 170,000 permanent foreign residents in Shanghai, more than 4,000 are Indians.
