Man hijacks radio signal to sell fake drug
A man in Henan province was jailed for selling fake medicine by breaking in on a radio signal, reported kb.dsqq.cn on Monday.
The man, surnamed Sun, in collaboration with a gang selling fake anti-impotence drugs, decided to take advantage of the 12 am to 6 am break time of a local radio station to advertise their products. The gang rented apartments in high-rise buildings and used a broadcasting kit bought on the black market to send radio signals out over a 10-km square area.
Sun was sentenced to three years for selling fake medicine.
