Man dangles from hose outside building

Breaking into a house by climbing down a rope hanging from the roof is an action hero stunt often seen in movies. But when an ordinary man in Central China's Anhui province tried to enter his home in this risky way after he forgot his key, he found himself stranded in the air.

The 52-year-old was seen dangling outside an 18-storey building in Hefei, the capital of Central China's Anhui province, on Saturday. Clad in a pair of shorts, the man was exposed to the chilly air for about half an hour when he was spotted in the air, reported hf365.com.

After being rescued, the man told the police how he ended up in midair: when he left his home on the 16th floor earlier that day, the door was accidentally shut by a gust of wind. He had tried to get in from his neighbor's house on the upper floor, but the request was turned down. As the unlucky man did not want to spend money on a locksmith, he decided to use a fire hose to break into his home from the roof of the building.

However, to his embarrassment, he found himself trapped outside the 14th floor and had to be rescued.
