'Minions' conquer the Great Wall

In today's trending, "Minions" from the cartoon film make a stop at the Great Wall, a village in Guizhou is noted for its martial artists, Guangdong students are learning about the stock market and a couple's wedding goes sky high as they get married in a helicopter.

Minions 'bello' to Chinese on the Great Wall
As China has become an important film market for Hollywood studios, Stuart, Kevin and Bob, the three leading characters in the 3D animated movie Minions - were spotted ascending to the top of the Great Wall on Saturday, Xinhua reported.
According to the report, the recent Great Wall tour was the trio's way of "saying hello to Chinese audiences" and starting their promotional travel in China.
Minions, a spin-off from the successful Despicable Me series, has already been screened worldwide and topped $1 billion at the box office.
The movie will be released in China on Sept 13.
Chinese fans are encouraged to join in the Silly Sunday Challenge on major social media sites like Weibo and WeChat. Also, costumed Minions characters will meet and greet fans in theaters across China in the following month.
