"Some works, which we scriptwriters think are of very low quality, have received high audience ratings. This makes us really angry, or outraged, or desperate…it's a phenomenon," he says, noting that the times are changing and we need to analyze the changes carefully. But, one thing, the ultimate goal of art, no matter what form, is not to entertain, but to cultivate and feed (our souls)."
