An exhibition of achievements in China's Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia and Tibet autonomous regions, at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities opened in Beijing before the National Day which falls on October 1.
On Sept. 8th, 110 foreign ambassadors and diplomats visited the exhibition of achievements at the fair which is being held in the Cultural Palace of Nationalities.
Pictures, video clips, books, solar panels and models of wind turbines, as well as economic figures were presented at the exhibition that showcased the achievements made in the five autonomous regions which are mainly inhabited by different ethnic people.
Tanka Prasad Karki, the Nepali Ambassador to China condemned the riot in Xinjiang's capital of Urumqi on July 5, which left nearly 200 people dead.
The exhibition impressed foreign diplomats deeply and after the visit, DVDs and books on the five regions have become popular among the envoys.
