At the Tiananmen Rostrum, there hangs high a portrait of former chairman Mao Zedong. Wang Qizhi is the man who used to paint the portrait of the leader. As the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China approaches, Mr. Wang is looking back on the days of the founding of his country.
Though over 80 years old, Wang Qizhi still can testify a lot to the achievements the country has made in the last 60 years.
