Wang Gangyi, a professor with Dalian University of Technology, rose to fame by swimming for extended periods in freezing water in the Antarctic and Arctic. After breaking world records he wanted a new challenge and took over a care home that looks after children who have lost their mothers and whose fathers are in prison.
