International Orange Photo Festival started in Changsha Oct 22. Organized by the Changsha government and undertaken by Changsha Evening News Group, this festival is the first international Internet photo competition held by China.
To minimize carbon output at the event, all the photos in the competition are not printed but judged online.
In the theme of "Life and dream", works of more than 60 photographers from about 20 countries will be shown in the exhibition. Photographers and experts in China and from United States, India, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan attend the festival, and they will give lectures and workshops in the following days.
The festival will run through Oct 29.
