In the second of a six part series investigating the growing gap between food production and global population growth, DJ Clark crosses the Chinese border into the western hills of Nepal to investigate the age-old problem of food shortages in vulnerable rural communities. Although the looming food crisis is set to worsen over the next 40 years, Clark discovers in Dolpa, Nepal that it is already starting to impact on some Asian communities.
