Known as "the crossroads of the world" and considered by many to be one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections, New York's Times Square played a 30-second special video to welcome Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping during his 5-day visit to the United States.
Produced by the Sino-American Friendship Association, the video titled "Sino-American Friendship, a witness to History" was shown to the audience every five minutes from 7am Tuesday until 1am Wednesday, showcasing four historical moments Xi had with the US in previous years.
