Members of China's 18th National Congress invited reporters to Beijing's Qingshuiyuan community on Nov 11 to witness the workings of a wireless network that links the community for its residents benefit.
The community, in the city's Dongcheng district, is divided into two grids, which are linked together by a "grid service center". One director and several workers are assigned to each section and can make phone calls, send photos or report incidents to the system to request a vareity of different services for the community's elderly.
