Quake kills 10 in Indonesia's Aceh

JAKARTA - At least 10 people were killed in the 6.7 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia's Aceh province earlier Tuesday, the country's largest news portal detik.com quoted a minister as saying here.
"So far, we have 10 fatalities," said Social Minister Salim Segaf Al Jufrie before a plenary session in the presidential office.
The earthquake, struck at 00:55 local time (2055 GMT), was centered at 59 kilometers northeast of Singkil Baru sub-district of Singkil regency with a depth of 78 kilometers.
