SYDNEY - Two people died after a light plane crashed into a paddock in northern New South Wales (NSW) of Australia, the NSW Police said on Friday.
The plane caught fire and crashed at the property near the Bruxner Highway in South Gundurimba, south of Lismore, at 10:15 am (local time) on Friday.
The two occupants died at the scene, police said.
Police and emergency services crews have been called to the scene.
Crime scene investigators are on the way to the site of the accident, police said.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
