6.0-magnitude quake hits Gulf of Alaska

NEW YORK - An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted Gulf of Alaska at 20:42:16 GMT on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 15.50 km, was initially determined to be at 57.8537 degrees north latitude and 142.9141 degrees west longitude.
