A series of deals signed with Zimbabwe
Xi and Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe witnessed the signing of a bilateral economic and technological cooperation agreement and a series of other deals covering such fields as infrastructure construction, production capacity, investment and financing, as well as wild life protection.
South Africa welcomes investment from China
In South Africa, Xi and his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma witnessed the signing of 26 bilateral agreements with the total value of 94 billion rand ($6.56 billion; 41.9 billion yuan). Zuma welcomed more investment from China.
