Is vocational education the future?

Trades training should also be voluntary. As it is now, if you don't pass your senior middle school entrance exams, you are shuttled off to vocational training. This whole idea that only smart kids can go on to senior high school and then on to university is totally redundant and archaic academic thinking. Everyone deserves to graduate from high school. Everyone deserves a chance at a university education, if they so wish, and everyone deserves the right to be educated in a field they feel they will excel at. That includes trades training.
