Should only children be entitled to paid leave?

Because of medical progress for better health, there will be more and more aging people in years to come, and their needs are 365 days a year. That 8-10 days paid leave for their children to take care of them will only be token duty toward exercising filial piety. We need more practical solutions under a more holistic umbrella of social care.
