How foreigners view China's soccer development

You cannot make a country good by throwing money at a sport and expect immediate results. Becoming good at a sport (internationally) takes many years and usually is the result of it becoming part of the culture.

Many of the top international players have lived soccer since they were born and not grown up in a 'hot-house' environment.

Soccer is one sport that 'hot-housing' children will not produce the desired results, as may happen with other sports.
