Airbus's innovation center in Shenzhen unveils development plan

In terms of on board Internet access, the Airbus China Innovation Center has signed a contract with Huawei and China Mobile so they can offer high-speed and reasonably priced Internet access in the cabin. And the future, Airbus planes will be compatible with the Beidou satellite navigation system, and Airbus is using their new research center to explore potential applications of Beidou communication systems in the aviation industry.

And Airbus expects to implement its "Voom" service in China in next year. "Voom" is a flying taxi service app that has been used by tens of thousands of passengers in Sao Paulo and Mexico City. Users will be able to reserve a helicopter through the app and choose to share the ride to reduce the cost.
