Overtourism is a tricky thing because people always try to travel and countries also rely on it but lack proper management. To manage this problem, we cannot rely on the solution of limiting visitor numbers. Instead, we visitors also can do a bit to help ease it. For example, we can travel in the shoulder seasons to have a more pleasant experience and put less pressure on local residents and the environment.
