Overtourism: What's the solution?

Trying to travel in the off-season is definitely a good choice to avoid crowds, but for our family it seems a little bit difficult as our kids get older, so that we have to travel during school holidays. We really hope local authorities for popular destinations could limit numbers of travelers at the same place and same time to ease overtourism.
