HANGZHOU - NetEase, one of China's leading internet and online game service providers, reported a 15.7-percent net revenue growth in 2019.

The Nasdaq-listed firm raked in 59.2 billion yuan ($8.4 billion) in net revenue last year, according to its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2019.

Non-GAAP net income from continuing operations attributable to its shareholders totaled 15.7 billion yuan, compared to 10.8 billion yuan in 2018, the company said.

Net revenue from online games was 46.4 billion yuan, up 15.5 percent year-on-year, with mobile games accounting for approximately 71.4 percent of the total.

"We saw strong growth across our primary businesses due to strong performance in our online game services as well as other business segments," said William Ding, CEO of NetEase.

Ding also noted that NetEase is committed to providing support to the communities affected by COVID-19, although the company currently expects to see some impact on its business lines in the near term.
