Higher temps, more rain than normal forecast for most of China

Temperature will reach above 35 C on Sunday and Monday in most parts of China along with more rainfall than the same period during normal years, according to the China Meteorological Administration.

In part areas along the Yellow, Huaihe and Yangtze rivers and northern China, temperatures could reach 37 C.

Precipitation could reach 50 to 250 millimeters in areas along the Huaihe River, the Hanjiang River, southern China and parts of western China. Rainfall in these areas will be 50 to 100 percent more than that of the same period during normal years.
