Yuanfudao becomes e-learning sponsor for Beijing Winter Olympics

Chinese online education startup Yuanfudao announced on Monday it has become the official e-learning service sponsor of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The fresh cooperation between the Olympics and a leading Chinese online education firm will help demonstrate the country's advanced education technology prowess to the world, industry insiders said.
"An emerging startup is able to participate in this historic event. The participation itself confirms people's rising interest in the online education sector," said Li Xin, co-founder of Yuanfudao.
"We will take on the responsibility to promote cultural values of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and continue to beef up our products for higher growth," Li said.
The move came after the nation's online education solutions have become leading tech outlets globally, helping millions of students across the world during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yuanfudao has offered a slew of online education services, including online tutoring, smart learning and, problem analysis, to over 400 million users in China. Its main products include Yuanfudao, Yuantiku, Xiaoyuankousuan and Zebra AI Course.
