Philadelphia Orchestra Plays for Lunar New Year

The Philadelphia Orchestra's Lunar New Year Concert, which started Thursday and runs through Feb 14, featuring Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducting Tan Dun's Nu Shu: The Secret Songs of Women, Symphony for Microfilms, Harp, and Orchestra with Principal Harp Elizabeth Hainen as soloist, as well as David Robertson leading a performance of The Butterfly Lovers, concerto for violin and orchestra, with soloist Gil Shaham.

This program runs approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, and will be performed without an intermission. All Digital Stage events begin with a performance premiere, streaming in real time. Later on, this concert will be available for ticket holders to watch on demand for 10 days.
