Guangzhou Customs transferred more than 100 kilograms of rare animal and plant parts and products to the Guangzhou Bureau of Forestry and Landscaping on Tuesday after a crackdown on smugglers.
The items seized by officers include pangolin scales, rhinoceros horns, ivory, leopard skins, antelope horns, grey hornbill skulls, red sandalwood and eaglewood.
They will be used by forestry departments to help popularize science," said Su Jiangwen, an officer from Guangzhou Customs.
