Smugglers face crackdown in Guangzhou

It was the largest haul of items related to endangered animals and plants that Guangzhou Customs had ever turned over to local forestry departments, Su said.

Officers have transferred 17 batches of endangered animal and plant parts and products to forestry departments over the past year, he said.

Smugglers should not trust to luck as inspectors have intensified their efforts against smuggling in recent years.
