It notes that the robbery and killing happened in the daytime, around the university campus, one could imagine how bad the public situation is in Chicago, which is a city notorious for rampant gun violence. It was really heartbreaking to hear the news about a talented, young student with a bright future was killed in the daytime, and I also feel for his own family. Hopefully all Chinese students in US will keep alert and stay safe.
