Do university rankings matter?

This is a very correct action. Institutes of higher learning are for sharing knowledge. Unfortunately, the West has profiteered from them, ranking with all kinds of parameters.

In fact, there is no common ground to compare and contrast any one of them. China’s education has been misled but could extricate itself and be more independent.
