4th Shanghai Intl Artwork Trade Week to kick off

The Fourth Shanghai International Artwork Trade Week will take place from Nov 10 to 14.

More than 110 trade events, including five art fairs, 26 auction events, more than 50 art exhibitions and 30 museum shows, will take place in the city during this period. The artworks on exhibition and for sale have a combined value of 12 billion yuan ($1.64 billion).

The municipality first launched the Shanghai International Artwork Trade Month in 2019. In light of the COVID-19 epidemic, the municipal administrations has condensed the trading events to within a week.

Two of the major art fairs during this period are ART021 and the West Bund Art & Design, which will take place from Nov 10 to 13 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center and West Bund Art Center respectively.

More than 100 galleries from 36 cities around the world will be taking part in ART021, which will be celebrating its 10th edition this year. The West Bund Art & Design event will see more than 100 galleries and institutions from 43 cities participate.
