Huang Bihong and her clay figurines — made with fingers swollen with rheumarthritis — have drawn much attention on Chinese social media, with fans voicing support for the 27-year-old.
Huang, from Jieyang, Guangdong province has suffered from rheumarthritis since she was 7. Ninety percent of her joints have been damaged by the disease.
To help with treatment, Huang began learning to make handicrafts out of clay in October last year, as suggested by her doctor. A year later, she is completing pieces and started sharing videos online.

Encouraged by her fans, Huang started an online store to sell her clay works and is receiving increasing numbers of orders.
Huang said she hopes more people will come to know her, as well as other people with disabilities who are succeeding with handicrafts.
