BEIJING - The China National Space Administration (CNSA) began to solicit important scientific questions worldwide in deep space exploration Thursday.

The solicitation aims to promote the development of deep space exploration, form an international consensus on scientific questions in this field, and solve common problems and challenges facing the humankind, the CNSA added.

Themed "Gather Wisdom, Shape the Future", the event is open to researchers in space exploration, amateurs, and teenagers from all over the world. It will run until Jan 31, 2023.

The CNSA will draw up priority missions in the country's deep space exploration based on the solicited suggestions, it said.
