Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum creates platform for talent exchange

To attract more talents to work and start businesses in the capital, the Beijing Institute of Talent Development Strategy and Peking University Guanghua School of Management jointly released the "Global City Talent Retention Index (2022)." The report reveals that Beijing ranks sixth in overall scores among global cities and has consistently been the top-ranked city in China for three consecutive years.

To fully leverage the leadership role of renowned scientists, entrepreneurs, and outstanding youth representatives in the field of technological innovation, the organizers invited Jeffrey Lehman, the vice-chancellor of NYU Shanghai and winner of the Chinese Government Friendship Award; Xue Qikun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of the Southern University of Science and Technology; Asma Shaikh, the director-general of the Human Resources Department at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank; and Miguel Montoya, vice-president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce, to deliver keynote speeches on empowering youth talent for innovative development.
