Chinese AI company unveils new learning hardware

Chinese artificial intelligence company Yuanfudao unveiled its brand-new smart learning and exercising hardware on Tuesday, as the company strives to leverage its AI ability to improve learning experience.

The new gadget mainly uses the company's AI technologies, including image recognition and recommendation algorithms, to offer homework correction. Through intelligent analysis of data, the gadget will match the exercises that students really need.

According to Wang Xiangdong, head of the company's tool business, said that doing exercises has been a traditional learning mode with an extremely low efficiency.

"Behind it is the need of digitalization and the personalization of learning," Wang said.

Different from most of the smart learning hardware in the market, Yuanfudao incorporates an ink screen, which is closely resembles a paper book, Wang added.
